The Lancet (Gastroenterology and Hepatology) published a paper this month revealing alarming findings about the increased incidence of bowel cancer in younger people including Australians.
Earlier intervention is urgently needed to lower the age of government-funded screening to people from 40 years (USA is currently at 45 years and we are at 50 years ).
It’s important that people understand this is a preventable cancer!
